What’s the mood in Westminster ahead of Brexit negotiations?
If you ask MP Steve Baker, it’s positive.
Last week, The Fleet Street Letter’s Charlie Morris sat down at Portcullis House with Steve to talk about what’s coming next for Brexit Britain.
Fair warning: it’s very different in tone to the kind of doom and gloom you’ll read in most of the financial press. Both Steve and Charlie supported Brexit. They see it as an opportunity, both for Britain and for investors. And as you’ll see in their exclusive interview below, they see this as a time for optimism, not pessimism.
We’ve hosted the interview online for you to watch. It’s well worth your time. As one person who viewed it commented:
Fantastic interview, thank God for people like Steve Baker one of the few MPs who have been in the real world, a true visionary. He has reinforced my beliefs in how the negotiations with the EU will pan out and basically kicked “project fear” into touch; for a bonus he has that arrogant idiot Carney in his sights and quite rightly blames the weakness in sterling on his ridiculous quantitative easing post Brexit.

Until tomorrow,
