Have you ever wondered what our office looks like?
Today’s Capital & Conflict comes to you from our newly complete recording studio.
It was recorded on the day stockmarkets surged on the news Italy would back down in its budget battle with the EU.
The next day, the reports were denied in the morning. And by the afternoon, the EU had decided to go ahead with sanction procedures.
Europe’s budget armistices are getting shorter each time.
But if you’re still following the news on a day-to-day basis, you’re missing out on the real story.
What’s driving the news isn’t something that can change from day to day. The euro’s inherent flaws are behind the turmoil. Italian and EU politics are a mess because of this. Don’t confuse symptoms for the disease.
That’s why you should watch our interview now. It’s about some of the ideas in the book How the Euro Dies, which explains the euro’s flaws and how they’ll play out.
Last night, the book officially launched at an event in the Barbican Centre. I gave a quick speech about the book and we had a Q&A with a panel from the world of finance and media.
If you’d like to discover how, and why, the euro is doomed, you can still grab a copy of the book here.
Until next time,
Nick Hubble
