Looking for Dr Mike Tubbs’ Research Investments?
Passing the baton of tech expertise
Dear investor,
If you’re looking for Dr Mike Tubbs’s Research Investments, Mike retired in in January 2017 after eight years of tremendous work. But Research Investments is in good hands. To continue the mission of the publication, I’m happy to introduce you to someone you may already know…
His name is Sam Volkering. Sam’s taken over the helm of Research Investments and started sharing his research, analysis and investment recommendations with private investors.
Sam specialises in seeking out a particular kind of technology firm. However, where Mike focused on R&D spend, Sam is focused on what he calls ‘revolutionary tech’ firms. So what does he mean by that?
These are stocks with new technology that has the potential to bring about revolutionary change to an entire industry, our way of life and to your portfolio. We’re talking about the kind of companies that can make 10 times your money or more if they come off. From an investment point of view, we’re not talking about safe and steady gains. We’re talking about stocks that can go up quickly (and a lot) as their technology hits the market.
Here’s what Sam is currently most excited about.
If you subscribed to Research Investments, and are wondering about Dr Tubbs’s portfolio…
Sam has been working with the Research Investments team for a year now, in his capacity as managing editor. He is familiar with Dr Tubbs’s portfolio and will be providing you with updates and ongoing coverage of every open position going forward.
In keeping with Sam’s strategy, we’ve decided to change the name of this publication from Research Investments to Revolutionary Tech Investor. This is cosmetic and simply reflects the difference between Sam’s method and Mike’s.
Regards,
Nick O’Connor
